Burglar alarm installers in Newmains

Your neighbours in Newmains

Newmains is a close-knit village on the eastern edge of Wishaw, with the Newmains & St Brigid's Community Hub, the NCT community centre and Victoria Park, home of Newmains United, all at its heart. It's also where Tyger Security keeps its warehouse. We've been protecting homes and businesses across Scotland since 2011, and we're SSAIB approved for intruder alarms and CCTV.

A professional alarm, properly fitted

Every intruder alarm we install follows the EN50131 standard. We'll walk round the property with you, work out where an intruder is most likely to try to get in, and place detectors and contacts to match. Every system includes a backup battery, and we'll explain how to set it, unset it and part-set it at night before we leave.

• Wired alarm systems for new installs and upgrades.
• Dahua AirShield wireless alarms with app control.
• Bells-only or monitored alarms.
• A free, no-obligation quotation, with no pressure to decide on the day.

Monitoring that gets the right people moving

If your alarm is monitored, activations go to an Alarm Receiving Centre, where trained operators verify the event, contact your nominated keyholders and request Police attendance where applicable. All monitored systems include a Tyger Security external sounder, a clear sign to anyone thinking about trying their luck.

Servicing and takeovers

Our preventative maintenance plans include regular checks and a 24-hour emergency call-out service. We also take over and repair alarms fitted by other installers, including older systems in houses that have changed hands. Want to see what's going on as well as hear it? Questions we're asked in Newmains

Wired or wireless?

A wired alarm is often the right choice during a renovation, while a wireless system like Dahua AirShield is quicker and tidier to fit in a finished home. We'll explain both and recommend the best fit.

I've just moved in and don't know the alarm code. Can you help?

Yes. This is common when a house changes hands. We can check the existing system, reset it where possible and take over its servicing, or advise on a replacement if it's past its best.

Do you protect small businesses?

Yes. Shops and businesses in the village can have an alarm designed around opening hours and staff, with monitoring and keyholder response if needed.
